American University Preparatory School

Tuition and Fees

2017-2018 Academic Year

Our fees are composed of two parts. The first is tuition, which covers instructional costs during the regular academic day. The tuition fee includes instruction, textbook and software, visual and performing arts expenses, and physical education.

The second fee covers room and board, which covers housing for the entire ten-month academic year, three meals per day (when in residence), access to the fitness center, central library, and related residential and recreational opportunities.

There may be, on occasion, additional expenses to the student for extracurricular excursions, sporting events, theater attendance, and the like.

Room & Board

AUP is a boarding school and expects that every student lives and actively participates in this immersive environment. Our residential facilities are brand-new and have been designed with the comfort of students in mind. Each room has loft-style beds with a desk space under the bed bunk and some closet space.

All students will have access to the cafe, lounge, and study spaces at all times. The residential floors have access to satellite television, and computer workstations, and an outdoor balcony. We have a wireless network connection throughout the facility. The YMCA Ketchum-Downtown offers extensive recreational activities, pool, and equipment where students can continue a healthy lifestyle.

American University Preparatory School is proudly accredited by the Western Association of Schools & Colleges (WASC).
